Privacy Policy

Temwasseo Free Satellite Control (space.temwasseo.com, the “Site”) is a space and satellite information site used without sign-up or login. There is no form asking for your name, e-mail or phone number, and no personal data is collected beyond what is described below.

1. Information that is recorded

Using the Site creates the following records automatically, or leaves data only inside your browser.

  • Web server access logs — IP address, time of access, requested URL and browser type (User-Agent). Used only to operate the Site, diagnose failures and block abuse; never for any other purpose.
  • Location — when you press “My location” in the Sky & Impact Lab (Tonight’s Sky and Sat Pass tabs), your browser provides latitude and longitude. That value is used inside your browser only, to compute planet altitudes and satellite pass times; it is not sent to or stored on our server. If you decline, a default reference location is used.
  • Browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) — your chosen language and whether you have seen the 3D controls hint. These stay on your device and are not sent to the server.
  • Live data (typhoons, satellite orbits, space weather, comet positions) is fetched by the Site’s server from NASA JPL, CelesTrak, NOAA SWPC, JMA, NHC and MET Norway. No visitor information is included in those requests.

2. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)

The Site itself sets no login or tracking cookies.

The Site serves, or may serve, Google AdSense advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies (the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and may opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized ads are shown only after consent has been obtained through a consent management tool, in line with Google’s EU User Consent Policy.

3. Retention

Server access logs are kept only as long as operations require and are deleted periodically. Browser storage values disappear as soon as you clear them in your browser. The Site holds no member accounts.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or hand over collected information to third parties. Information processed by Google while serving ads is governed by Google’s privacy policy. This policy does not apply to external sites we link to (NASA, ARISS, CelesTrak, etc.).

5. Your rights

Because the Site holds no member data, there is no account information to access, correct or delete. Requests regarding access logs and any other questions can be sent to the e-mail below; we will check and reply.

6. Children

The Site has no sign-up and therefore collects no personal data from children under 14. It can be used regardless of age.

7. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new text is posted on this page and the “last updated” date is refreshed. Changes with a significant effect on users, such as a change in how ads are served, are announced before they take effect.
